Reflection: I enjoyed the voice thread project, I think it is a creative way to implement writing in the classroom. With technology becoming more popular in the classroom, the voice thread is a great way for students to express their writing. However, I do believe that this activity would work best for upper elementary grades. With me wanting to teach second grade, I feel that this assignment would be hard to explain to each student and to make sure that they can properly work the website.
Overall, I thought the voice thread was easy to use. I didn’t have any issues with the website and the “How To” video really explained a lot. I believe the project was a really fun and exciting way to publish our work, between this and the published book we were really able to show our imagination through writing.
